GWS are set to receive a major boost for Friday night's clash against Collingwood, with star trio Toby Greene, Josh Kelly and Lachie Whitfield all cleared to return from injury, according to Fox Sports' Tom Wilson.

Greene was left out of the side for last Friday night's clash against the Western Bulldogs due to a knee injury.

The forward confirmed to reporters earlier today that he will be fit to take on the Magpies.

"I was pretty close to playing last week so I’ll be good to go for this week and I’m looking forward to Friday night footy," Greene said.

Kelly was a late out for the Dogs matchup with calf tightness, but the Giants said it was a precautionary omission.

“With a five day break between games, we aren’t taken any risks with Josh,” Giants General Manager of Football Jason McCartney McCartney told the club website.

“At this stage we’re confident he’ll be able for selection next week."

Whitfield suffered a concussion early in the first quarter of the Marvel Stadium clash and did not return.

Leon Cameron's side went down to Bulldogs by 24 points for their second consecutive loss, slipping to 1-2 on the season.

The Giants host an undefeated Collingwood at Giants Stadium on Friday night at 7.50pm (AEST).
