Greater Western Sydney is reportedly circling out-of-contract Western Bulldogs player, Mitch Honeychurch, according to AFL.com.au.
Honeychurch is yet to be offered a new deal by the Bulldogs, with the club understood to be waiting until after the trade period before making a decision on his future.
However, AFL.com.au reports the 22-year-old would rather pursue a fresh start after managing just 22 games in four seasons at the Whitten Oval.
The Giants will have their hands negotiating deals for several departing players early in the trade period, however, are reportedly keen to acquire Honeychurch late in the trade period or even afterwards, if he is delisted by the Dogs.
Honeychurch was recruited with pick No. 60 on the 2013 National Draft and received a Rising Star nomination in 2015. He managed just six games this season, averaging 14.5 disposals and 5.7 tackles.
