As The Front Bar and The Footy Show continue to go head-to-head on a Thursday night, the latest ratings clash between the two shows makes for an interesting look into the loyalty of viewers.
After owning the ratings for the first 3-4 weeks since their return, The Footy Show are now falling behind, despite actually starting with more viewers for Thursday night's edition.
The Front Bar began with 163,000, while The Footy Show started with 170,000 at 8.30pm.
Within 15 minutes of both shows starting, the ratings basically flipped, with The Front Bar recording 173,000 viewers at 8.45pm, as The Footy Show lost 6,000 and dropped to 164,000 at the same time.
From that moment onwards, The Front Bar's total viewers jumped by over 40,000, and finished at a respectable 214,000 at 9.30pm when the show stopped.
The Footy Show's following increased by just 12,000 in that 45-minute timeframe, and ended up finishing 38,000 viewers short of The Front Bar, despite starting with a higher audience.
