The Fremantle Dockers are reportedly likely to make a play for Geelong forward Shane Kersten.

Kersten, who is from Western Australian, has cemented himself in Geelong's line-up this season, playing 12 games and booting 20 goals, but is reportedly yet to begin contract talks with the club.

The sharp shooter has played 32 career games with Geelong since being selected with pick No.34 in the 2011 National Draft.

Meanwhile, GWS forward Cam McCarthy, who is currently on indefinite leave from the club due to personal reasons, is expected to find his way to the Dockers during the off-season.
