Adelaide is set to have selection headaches for Round 1 according to former captain Taylor Walker.

Walker provided a positive update on several Crows speaking on 104.7 Triple M on Tuesday morning.

The key forward indicated Riley Thilthorpe, Sam Berry, recruit Callum Ah Chee, James Peatling and Isaac Cumming

“This is just my opinion, this is not gospel,” he clarified on 104.7 Triple M.

“There will be some headaches for ‘Nicksy' (coach Matthew Nicks) and ‘Muz' (coaching director Murray Davis) and the coaches.”

Thilthorpe missed the AAMI Community Series match with back soreness, while Cumming, Peatling and Ah Chee nursed minor hamstring injuries in the late stages of pre-season.

There has been some suggestion that Thilthorpe, who last year established himself as a genuine A-Grader, could play through the midfield after the Crows were shown up in that area during last year's finals series.

Mitch Hinge, however, is set to miss with back soreness that hampered him late in pre-season, while Walker said he was unsure of where Jake Soligo sat.

Soligo's late pre-season has been interrupted by an irregular heartbeat, but he returned to main training last week, having been managed for several weeks.

The Crows start their season on Saturday night at the MCG against a Collingwood side coming off a 12-point Opening Round win.
