The Match Review Panel will have two new members for the remainder of the season.

Geelong champion, Jimmy Bartel, who retired at the end of last season, will join the panel, along with former Carlton defender, Michael Jamison, who also retired last season.

The pair will join ex-players Michael Christian, Nathan Burke and Jason Johnson, who are already on the MRP.

The additions mean the number of panelists has grown by one, with former Adelaide and Richmond player, Chris Knights leaving his position due to work commitments.

Bartel retired last year after 305 games, three premierships, two All-Australians, a Bronwlow Medal and a Norm Smith Medal.

Jamison played 150 games for Carlton between 2007 and 2016 after being selected with pick No.17 in the 2007 Rookie Draft.
