Former Carlton and Fremantle ruckman Robbie Warnock has been detained at Los Angeles Airport because of a "visa discrepancy".

On the Friday Huddle on Triple M, journalist Damian Barrett reported the news.

Ex-Fremantle, ex-Carlton player...Robbie Warnock is currently into hour 11 at LAX Airport, as a result of what I've been told is a visa discrepancy," Barrett said.

"Apparently he's been there for at least ten hours, I've been told."

"He hasn't got his phone, he hasn't been able to communicate with anyone...not sure how he's getting out."

Chris Judd, former Carlton captain and teammate of Warnock's, was also on the show with Barrett, and had time to make a little joke at Warnock's expense.

"(He's) very fragile, Robbie Warnock, he may not make it out of this," Judd joked.

"He's had some good moments."
