Although the Eagles have been rumoured to potentially lose key players in 2025, numerous rivals could trade their current uniform for wings and join the biggest club out west. With multiple first-round draft picks and the always-enticing pull of home, West Coast could be big players in the 2025 AFL trade period.
Likely to hold Pick 1 come season's end, the Eagles could also receive Pick 2 for compensation if skipper Oscar Allen departs, while following Round 14 the Eagles also hold Picks 14, 19, 32, and 50, three of those tied to Hawthorn's ladder-position after receiving them in the Tom Barrass deal.

5Jacob Blight
Blight has demonstrated plenty of promise since joining the Tigers as a Mid-Season Draft selection in 2024.
In his eight career games to date, the 23-year-old has demonstrated his aerial ability, both in his regular position down back, as well as in the forward line.
Plucked from WAFL side Peel Thunder where Blight was dominating as a key back, the 196cm Tiger could seek a move back to WA for more opportunity, as well as for the luxury of being back in his home city.
With just five games under his belt and being swung between defence and the forward arc, Blight could be more settled in West Coast colours, as the Eagles still remain on the lookout for a replacement for Tom Barrass, and potentially Jeremy McGovern, who is still waiting on assessment from an independent panel on his future with concussion.
Likewise to many on this list, Blight is contracted only until season's end, meaning the Eagles could swoop on the Peel product if he is delisted, or otherwise utilise their draft stocks to barter a deal.
