Although the Eagles have been rumoured to potentially lose key players in 2025, numerous rivals could trade their current uniform for wings and join the biggest club out west. With multiple first-round draft picks and the always-enticing pull of home, West Coast could be big players in the 2025 AFL trade period.

Likely to hold Pick 1 come season's end, the Eagles could also receive Pick 2 for compensation if skipper Oscar Allen departs, while following Round 14 the Eagles also hold Picks 14, 19, 32, and 50, three of those tied to Hawthorn's ladder-position after receiving them in the Tom Barrass deal.

With plenty of stock to deal with and a desperate desire to improve their list, who should the Eagles target in the off-season?

Here are five trade and free agency targets for West Coast to consider this year...

The Essendon youngster could be an ideal target for West Coast as the Eagles look to bolster their midfield talent.

Tsatas has been offered little opportunity at the Bombers despite joining the club as a top-five draft pick in 2022. The 20-year-old has played just four games at the top flight this season, one of which was as the sub, and was once again left out of Thursday night's trip to play Fremantle.

The Eagles are in need of added midfield depth as they navigate a season of injuries to veterans, with Elliott Yeo and Dom Sheed yet to play in 2025, the latter ruled out for the season.

Round 14's midfield line-up consisted of West Coast's latest top draft selections of Bo Allan and Harley Reid in the midfield with former Cat Tim Kelly, who has dished up inconsistent performances this season.

Beyond that trio, Category B rookie Tyrell Dewar and 21-year-old Elijah Hewett also earned a stint in the guts, while Liam Baker floats through but has other duties in the defensive half too.

Adding a highly-touted developing midfielder in Tsatas to the mix creates further depth and competition for spots, while adding another talented prospect alongside another young star in Harley Reid.
