Delisted Western Bulldogs defender Liam Jones has signed with QAFL club Palm Beach Currumbin following his AFL exit.
The move sees Jones return to the Queensland outfit, for whom he represented during the 2022 season after taking a break from the top flight amid the AFL's COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
Jones returned to the AFL as a delisted free agent later that year, signing with the Western Bulldogs to conclude his career.
After not being offered a contract by the Bulldogs for 2026, Jones has returned to the Sunshine State, having taken on a development coaching role with the Brisbane Lions.
"Palm Beach Currumbin is pumped to announce that Liam Jones will pull on the PBC colours in 2026," a Lions announcement read.
"After an outstanding AFL career spanning over 200 games, and coming off a recent VFL premiership with the Western Bulldogs, Liam returns to PBC bringing elite experience, leadership, and presence to our program.

"We're excited to welcome back Liam & family to the PBC family and can't wait to see him back out there in the maroon."
Jones has 205 AFL games to his name, having started his career with the Western Bulldogs in 2008 before crossing to Carlton six years later.
He would feature in two VFL premierships across his 16-year career, playing a role in Footscray's run to the flag last year.
