North Melbourne and Gold Coast lead the changes in the leadership department, appointing a new skipper and a standalone captain for the 2025 campaign.

Noah Anderson will lead the Suns as a new era is set to dawn on the Queensland club, while the Kangaroos' Jy Simpkin has been given the nod after Luke McDonald stood down.

Collingwood star Nick Daicos' promotion to vice-captain is without a doubt set to hold him in good stead as the next captain of the powerhouse club.

But not all leadership groups are made up the same.

Some sides have opted for a streamlined leadership team, while others have gone for a much bigger group.

Take a look at who will be your club's captain, vice-captain and leadership group for 2025.

MELBOURNE

Captain: Max Gawn
Vice-Captain: Jack Viney

The Demons will go with an unchanged leadership pairing, led by star ruckman Max Gawn and tough-nut midfielder Jack Viney.

Season 2025 will be Gawn's sixth year in charge, while Viney's re-appointment will see him reach a decade as a formal leader of the club.

"It's always an honour to be recognised by your teammates and coaches, particularly as a leader," Gawn said.

"Jack and I have built a strong partnership over the past six years together. We challenge each other, and those around us, as we both know what is required to be the team we want to be.

"We are excited by the task ahead, and look forward to getting our season underway in three weeks' time."
