Essendon's active trade period and suite of draft recruits have seen eight players receive their new playing numbers for the 2024 season.
The Bombers recruited Todd Goldstein and Ben McKay from North Melbourne during the trade period, both as free agents, with the pair to wear numbers 17 and 32 respectively. McKay will wear the number made famous by Bombers greats Barry Davis and Tim Watson.
The Bombers' third free agent signing, Jade Gresham, will wear number 11.
Former Port Adelaide midfielder Xavier Duursma, who was part of a last-minute trade to the Bombers, will wear the number 28 guernsey.
During the 2023 draft with their first-round pick at 10th overall, the Bombers received forward Nate Caddy who will don the number 30 guernsey in his first season at Tullamarine.
Other draft recruits Luamon Lual and Archie Roberts will wear number 34 and number 38 respectively, while rookie selection Vigo Visentini will don the number 39 jumper.
