Former Collingwood president Eddie McGuire is set to return to Channel Nine show Footy Classified on Wednesday night.
McGuire has taken time away from the media since stepping away from the Holden Centre, but will now host tonight's broadcast.
Reports had surfaced earlier this week that McGuire would be returning to his duties with the show before the Nine Network initially denied the rumours.

However, TV Tonight have confirmed McGuire will join Caroline Wilson, Matthew Lloyd and Ross Lyon on the Footy Classified panel ahead of the AFL's opening round.
It is unclear whether McGuire will return to his role with Fox Footy, while he has begun recording new episodes of Millionaire Hot Seat.
