Collingwood has secured the services of GWS midfielder Will Hoskin-Elliott, trading a 2017 future round two selection to the Giants.
Hoskin-Elliott had been linked to a move to Victoria for quite a while, and the Pies have beaten out fellow competitors for the 23-year-old's signature.
The midfielder played just twice for the Giants in 2016, but has made 52 appearances in total for GWS since making his debut in 2012.
Hoksin-Elliott was a highly touted youngster, and was selected at pick four in the 2011 National Draft.
