Lewis Taylor is a Swan, after the Blues and Sydney engaged in a pick swap to allow the midfielder to move clubs.

Carlton and Sydney swapped selections, with the Blues sending pick 48 to the Swans for picks 54 and 63 in return.

That swap allowed the Swans to grab Taylor, with pick 48 being on-traded to Brisbane for the former Rising Star winner.

The 23-year-old will join the Swans on a reported three-year deal.

โ€œWeโ€™re excited to have secured Lewis from Brisbane as we think he has the potential to be a really important player for us for years to come,โ€ Sydney's Head of Football Charlie Gardiner told the club's website.

โ€œLewis really burst onto the scene from a young age and showed he has great speed and elite skills that will really complement our side.

โ€œWe look forward to Lewis joining Sydney for the start of pre-season and seeing him continue his career in red and white.โ€
