Demons star Max Gawn is in doubt to face the Adelaide Crows this week due to a soft tissue strain, reports SEN's Sam Edmund.
Sources reportedly told Edmund that Gawn could miss multiple weeks but are preparing him to take his place in the side this week.
He will have scans today to determine the severity of the issue.
Melbourne fly to Adelaide on Wednesday morning for their clash against the Crows that night at Adelaide Oval.
They will remain in Adelaide until a meeting with North Melbourne next Sunday.
