After being dropped in recent weeks, Melbourne's Jake Melksham and North Melbourne's Lindsay Thomas will find it hard to get to senior footy in the near future, with both players copping suspensions from the VFL.
Melksham has been offered a one-game ban after being reported twice in the same match while playing for Casey over weekend.
Thomas has been sent straight to the tribunal for a big hit on Corey Maynard, who is on the rookie list at Melbourne.
Maynard had to be stretchered from the ground and did not take any further part in the game.
Meanwhile, young St Kilda forward, Paddy McCartin, has been hit with a $500 fine for engaging in rough conduct with North Ballarat's Tony Lockyer.
