Contracted Sun Jack Lukosius is said to be on the move this off-season, with strong links to his home state in South Australia and the Adelaide Crows as the likely landing spot.
Reports coming out of the Lukosius camp provide no indication of his desire to leave the Gold Coast, but having been given the all-clear to explore his options ahead of 2025, a move elsewhere looks a near-certainty.
The Suns already have a number of potential replacement either on the list already, or potentially joining the club this off-season, with Crows tall Elliott Himmelberg recently rumoured to be on Gold Coast's watch, and contracted prodigy Mac Andrew potentially shifting to Lukosius' primary forward role.
Former Adelaide skipper Taylor Walker joinedย Saturday Rub onย Triple Mย during semi-final weekend and answered queries about whether the club are all-in on a pursuit of the high-profile Sun.

"That's a question you'll have to ask Justin Reid (Adelaide list boss). I'd imagine they'd be in conversation with him," Walker said.
"He'd be a great addition to our footy club if he chose to go down that path but I'm sure there'll be a bit of process to carry out before that happens."
Walker shared how he believes the Adelaide Crows are shaping their approach to the 2024 off-season, clearly needing to bolster their list further to reach the pinnacle all clubs are hoping for.
The club have all but secured the services of premiership veteran Alex Neal-Bullen from Melbourne.
But the veteran still sees glaring potential in the crop currently listed at the club, noting that lack of availability was a strong hindrance to their 2024 campaign.
"I always said at the start of the year that if we stayed healthy we'd be a chance to play finals. Obviously we weren't able to do that and an example; it wasn't until Round 21 when we played the Bulldogs that Riley Thilthorpe and Izak Rankine played their first game of the year together," the former Crows skipper stated.
"We just need to continue to grow our list from inside and out and I think we're going to be pretty aggressive in the trade period to do that.
"So I look forward to a big year for the Crows next year."
'Tex's own status at the club is sure to draw headlines next season, the 34-year-old coming out of contract at the conclusion of 2025, and rumours continuing to swirl of a move for Walker to a premiership contender.
Should he somehow reverse the trajectory of his recent form and return to that of his 2022 & 2023 campaigns, his services are sure to be begged for by a number of clubs lacking reliable key forward craft, should he not hang up the boots in 12 months' time.
