Crows midfielder Jake Soligo has been ruled out of Saturday's practice match against Fremantle.
Soligo has been on managed minutes in recent weeks due to an irregular heartbeat but took part in the club's main session on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old is expected to return to full training next week, as the Crows are deciding how to manage his recovery.
The midfielder featured in all 25 games for the Crows last season after a breakout year in 2024.
Cross-town rival and Port Adelaide midfielder Ollie Wines has suffered from irregular heartbeats during his career, including being pulled from matches.
Wines was diagnosed with the condition in 2022 and had come out of games on three occasions, resulting in minor surgery.
Last year's reigning minor premiers have been hit by multiple injuries throughout the pre-season.
Soligo joins the likes of Mark Keane, Dan Curtin, Isac Cumming, Mitch Hinge and Izak Rankine, all battling various complaints.
The Crows will get one final hitout before 2026 against Fremantle in Western Australia on Saturday, February 28.
They will then face off against Collingwood in Round One on the 14th of March.
