Adelaide has confirmed captain Jordan Dawson has recommitted to the club for a further two seasons.
Dawson's deal with the Crows was due to conclude at the end of 2027, with the South Australian now locked in for the two following seasons.
The decision comes amid a career-best campaign for Dawson, who is firmly in contention for a maiden Brownlow Medal in his fourth season back in his home state.
"As a Club, we are making progress and everyone - the players, coaches and staff โ are committed to improving," Dawson said of his contract decision.
"We're also fortunate to be backed by such passionate members and supporters, too.
"I think we all understand there's a lot of hard work ahead of us, and our focus must continue to be on whatever challenge is coming up next."
Dawson is averaging 24.12 disposals, 7.00 tackles, 6.53 inside 50s and 4.24 clearances per game, and has kicked 12 goals for the season.
His role through midfield and as a temporary target forward has seen Dawson emerge as a damaging dual-position asset.
"Jordan is having another outstanding season, with his consistency and ability to impact games, and especially in key moments," Crows list manager Justin Reid said.
"Jordan is all about the team and Club, and we look forward to what is ahead."
Dawson is set to lead the Crows in Sunday's thrilling affair against the Suns, with the two sides sitting in the five rungs on the ladder.
Adelaide and Gold Coast went head-to-head in Round 4, with the Suns holding on to win by one point.
Sunday will see them face off at Adelaide Oval, with the game to start at 4:40pm (AEST).
