Adelaide will await scan results on a hamstring injury to young defender Max Michalanney in what was a sour outcome from a strong Showdown victory over Port Adelaide on Saturday night.
Michalanney came from the field in the third term and didn't return, with the Crows forced into making their sub change and bringing Chayce Jones into the game in his place.
Coach Matthew Nicks didn't provide an extensive update on Michalanney, who will undergo further assessment before learning the extent of his hamstring injury.
A minor strain is still likely to mean the third-year backman will miss next week's clash with Hawthorn, which will come off a six-day break, while a medium strain could see him miss the rest of the home and away season.
The injury to Michalanney sees him join a short injury list at West Lakes, with the defender Jordon Butts (chest) and forward Josh Rachele (knee) the only two senior players currently sidelined.
Speaking after his side's 98-point victory over the Power, coach Matthew Nicks said his side is well placed to combat setbacks given the number of players pressing their case for spots from the SANFL.
"Unfortunately, it looks like Max might have done a hammy," Nicks said.
"But having a list that is healthy, and pressure from below for spots, helps you drive right through to the end. Nobody wants to let the team down.
"We've got some great momentum at this point, and we know how hard it is to keep that momentum.
"The guys are doing everything possible to just continue to reset themselves and go onto the next week. We've been so good in that space."
Return timeframes for both Rachele and Butts remain up in the air, with the pair's expected return dates listed as 'TBC'.
Defender Mitch Hinge managed to get through Saturday's victory after dealing with a hip issue in the lead-up to the Showdown.
The win for Adelaide sees them sit in top spot on the ladder momentarily, with a game at Adelaide Oval on Friday against the Hawks their next challenge.
The Crows' final three games after that encounter come against West Coast, Collingwood and North Melbourne.
