Collingwood will have their hands full in the 2025 National Draft as they look to bring in three club-tied prospects into the fold.
After selling their 2025 first-round selection as a part of the monster mega deal between Port Adelaide and Gold Coast, which ultimately yielded two-time All-Australian Dan Houston, the Pies aren't loaded with picks, with their first coming at 36.
Speaking on this week's episode of Craft of the Draft, host Mitch Keating breaks down how it'll look for the flag favourites, and who they might bring in to bolster their youth.
"Collingwood themselves aren't short in that regard," Keating said regarding club-linked draft prospects.
"Currently, they have picks 36, 54, 64 and 72. It's only 331 points for four picks.
"They've got a trio of club-tied teenagers who they'll be looking at getting in.
"Tom McGuane, a father-son prospect, who is probably on the fringes of the first round. Zac McCarthy and Jai Saxena, as well, are fellow Vic Metro squad members.
"They get a nice variety in all three prospects."
Craft of the Draft analyst Jonty Ralphsmith said all three will help "complement" the Pies' aging list, adding to the star power already at the club.
"They will get exactly what they need," Ralphsmith said.
"I look at Charlie West, who is coming through for Collingwood, and I think Zac McCarthy is going to complement him well in the forward line.
"McCarthy also has the ability to run through the ruck. Tom McGuane will complement Nick Daicos quite well in the midfield, and then Jai Saxena just adds to that bevy of small forward talent."
Ralphsmith also flagged that the Pies could look to South and Western Australia to draft exciting talents, as well as some of their VFL players.
Rod Ali, Blake Kelly and Sam Swadling were all names chucked up as potential options in November.
