A Collingwood staffer has left the club following an incident at a community camp in the Northern Territory.
The incident resulted in an internal investigation and a staff member resigning, with Executive General Manager Football Charlie Gardiner addressing the squad about the misconduct on Tuesday morning.
"Collingwood can confirm that an incident occurred during recent interstate travel that required investigation by the Club," a club statement read.
"As soon as the Club became aware of the incident, it moved quickly to address the matter and during this process, the employee involved tendered their resignation, which the Club accepted.
"Our focus remains on supporting all team members and ensuring our environments remain professional and consistent with the values we stand for."

I am pleased the Pies acted quickly on this. I have no idea what the incident involved but I do know that when clubs go on training camps part of the reason is to gain community involvement in the club. Unprofessional incidents are counter productive and need to be stamped out.
