Geelong tall Mitch Clark has suffered yet another injury setback, with a calf injury likely to keep him out of the side for Round 1.
Clark has missed several weeks of training due to the injury.
The 28-year-old managed only eight games for Geelong last year in an injury plagued first season at the Cattery.
Geelong coach Chris Scott said his current injury is unrelated to the calf issue which saw him miss the majority of last season or the foot injury that plagued his 2013 season at Melbourne.
“His foot is fine. It’s a soft-tissue thing and Mitch has got soft-tissue history. We don’t know how long it’s going to be,’’ Geelong coach Chris Scott said.
