Geelong list manager Stephen Wells says the club is not interested in veteran Roo, Daniel Wells.

Wells, who is expected to join Collingwood on a three-year deal, had also been linked to the Cats.

However, Stephen Wells says the North midfielder will not be at the Cattery in 2017.

“Daniel won’t be joining Geelong,” he told Trade Radio on Monday morning.

But Wells did confirm Geelong's interest in Tigers' star Brett Deledio.

“We have an interest in Brett,” Wells said.

“It’s a bit like Steven Motlop in (that) Brett’s a contracted player at Richmond and we fully expect Richmond to want him to play for them.”

Wells also said he expects Shane Kersten to join Fremantle.

“Shane has been linked to the Fremantle Dockers,” Wells said.

“We’ve had a contract offer on the table for Shane ... he’s gone to Fremantle and explored his options.

“We’re expecting to hear back from Fremantle and Shane soon.”
