Caroline Wilson has criticised Barry Hall and the Triple M team for comments made during the pre-game show ahead of the Western Bulldogs vs. Geelong clash on Friday night.
During the coverage, commentator Leigh Montagna was speaking about his wife's pregnancy, given the pair are about to welcome their first child.
Hall then made an insensitive and "disgusting" comment relating to Montagna's partner's recent trip to the doctor's.
The former Sydney captain was then instantly removed from Friday night's coverage, before being permanently relieved of his position at Triple M.
“I think it’s almost career-ending, in terms of the media,” Wilson said on 3AW on Saturday.
“It’s not often something is said on radio that doesn’t involve a horrible swear word that nobody is prepared to report and nobody is prepared to discuss.”
“I just can’t understand how the discussion even began.
“And I can’t understand why there was laughter, even if it was a half mock horror shock laughter.
“It was just disgusting.”
Wilson believes the saga isn't over, suggesting the other members of the commentary team could well be reprimanded too.
