Brendan Fevola will team up alongside Luke Hodge and Gary Ablett Jnr in the upcoming Legends Game on August 28 for Victoria.

Fevola, who has been a consistent feature in the marquee clash in years gone by, revealed that he wasn't intending on playing, but was encouraged by his kids to feature in the return of the contest.

The Legends Game was last played six years ago, and will attempt to raise funds for prostate cancer

"The season finishes and there's a break for one week," Fevola said, according to SEN.

"In that week, there's nothing on, so this year the Legend's game is back. It's for prostate cancer, and I've been part of it for about 15 years.

"Cyril is back in the limelight, Tim Watson is the coach. The next player for Victoria to be named is me!

"I wasn't originally going to play, you get older and I didn't want to fail, but my kids made me."

It comes shortly after the All Stars revealed their second pick for the clash, with social media sensation and former AFL player Dan Gorringe announcing his return to the field.

Gorringe will be coached by Shane Crawford, and will play with Cyril Rioli and Nick Riewoldt.
