AFL 1st Qualifying Final - Port v Geelong

The AFL have released the fixture for the first week of finals with Tasmania to host its first ever AFL finals.

The four games in the opening week of finals will be split between Tasmania and Adelaide  Launceston and Adelaide Oval coming to the AFL's rescue.

Port Adelaide will get a home qualifying final against the Cats on Friday night with the game kicking off at 7:50pm AEST. The Power earning their home final with a win over the Western Bulldogs on Friday night.

The Battle of the Bridge will feature in yet another finals series but this time the game will be played out of Sydney. Sydney will host GWS at University of Tasmania Stadium at 3:20pm on Saturday.

Melbourne will host Brisbane at the Adelaide Oval after their incredible come-from-behind victory over the Cats on Saturday night. Brisbane also had an incredible night sneaking into the top four.

Their reward is a clash with the minor premiers on neutral territory.

That game will get underway at 7:30pm AEST.

Lastly, the Bulldogs will face the Bombers on Sunday afternoon at University of Tasmania Stadium at 3:20pm AEST. The Bombers recently beat the Bulldogs- Peter Wright booted 7 goals. The Dogs hit finals having lost three on the bounce.
