The Gold Coast Suns are reportedly considering signing former Buffalo Bills NFL player Brandon Kaufman to its rookie list, according to Foxfooty.com.au.

Kaufman, who is a wide receiver from Colarado, has had three successful trials with the club and could joins the Suns in 2016.

The club was impressed with Kaufman's speed and athleticism.

The 25-year-old stands at 196cm tall, weighs 107kg and runs a 100m sprint in 10.4 seconds.

Kaufman played college football at Eastern Washington University for four years, however, he missed out on selection in the 2013 NFL Draft.

He was then signed by the Buffalo Bills as a free agent. He was dropped from the 53-man roster to the practice squad shortly after signing, before being cut by the Bills ahead of the 2013 season.
