Collingwood defender Jack Frost is set to join the Brisbane Lions.
Frost's manager, Ben Williams, told AFL Trade Radio on Wednesday afternoon that the 24-year-old will join the Lions on a three-year deal with the two clubs now needing to agree on a suitable trade.
"Frosty has decided that's he's going to be joining the Brisbane Lions on a three-year deal, should a trade be done," Williams said.
"Obviously players want to play footy and they want to play senior footy and he was out of the team and didn't look like he was getting back in the team.
"He (Frost) obviously had some interest with some clubs and decided that Brisbane's the best place for him.
"Collingwood were very transparent all along and they wanted to keep chatting regarding Jack and they never made a formal offer and they said they may during the trade period.
"But Jack obviously wanted something a bit more solid and obviously when a club makes a serious offer for you they have an intention to play you."
He has played 54 games in four years with the Magpies, however, managed just 10 games this season.
Frost played 20 games in 2014 and 22 games in 2015, appearing to have cemented his spot in Collingwood's backline. But he fell out of favour in 2016, spending the second half of the season in the VFL, playing his final senior game in Round 12.
