Collingwood defender Sam Murray will reportedly be available for the Pies in round one next year, after reducing his ASADA sanction.

According to AFL.com.au, Murray's legal team reduced his ban to 18 months, meaning his ban would be up before March of next season.

Murray was staring down the barrel at a four-year ban from the AFL, after traces of cocaine were found in his system on the day of their clash with Richmond in July, 2018.

The results were reportedly told to Murray and the Pies on Monday.

Given the ban was backdated to last year, Murray would be eligible to play in round one of the 2020 campaign.
