The Age have confirmed Fremantle coach Ross Lyon is the club figure who is at the centre of the club's sexual harassment claim.

According to The Age, Fremantle have reached a settlement with the junior staffer who no longer works at the club, following an incident between the pair a few years ago.

It is understood Lyon allegedly made inappropriate comments about the female's clothing attire at a club Christmas function.

The woman lodged the claim in 2017, years after the incident occured.

It is believed Lyon reported the matter to the club immediately after the incident, before the Dockers eventually cleared the coach of any punishment.

MORE TO COME.
