GWS forward Toby Greene has been sent directly to the Tribunal for serious misconduct involving Bulldogs star Marcus Bontempelli during their elimination final on Saturday.

Greene was involved in a number of incidents with Bontempelli, including an apparent eye gouge, that could see him miss at least the Giants’ semi-final clash with Brisbane if found guilty.

The MRP has also alleged Greene pulled the hair of the Dogs’ midfielder.

Greene has been sent to the Tribunal with one charge, meaning the eye gouge and hair pull will be heard in conjunction with one another.

The Tribunal will sit on Tuesday night.
