GWS star Lachie Whitfield has been subbed out of the Giants clash with the Gold Coast at half time.

Whitfield was suffered a head knock when jumping for a contested mark and was taken from the ground after struggling to find his feet when standing up.

Both the Giants and the Suns have now used their subs with Hugh Greenwood going off earlier in the game with a serious looking knee injury.

Rory Atkins and Jeremy Finlayson have been activated after starting as medical subs. Whitfield will be in doubt for selection in the GWS clash with Sydney next week.
