Carlton have provided updates on a few of their injured stars, as they return to training for 2019 on Friday.

Mitch McGovern suffered a non-displaced fracture in his back towards the end of 2018, and will now return to training over the coming weeks.

Jarrod Pickett wasn't as lucky and suffered a patella tendon injury towards the end of last year, but has successfully undergone surgery to remain his knee.

Pickett will stay in a knee brace for the next month, before gradually getting back into training.

Will Setterfield will take time getting back into training, but should be in full training by the end of January.

Finally, Blues co-captain Sam Docherty is progressing well in his recovery from his second ACL injury, and will soon begin work on strength and range of motion.
