News Ltd cameras have spotted a small group of the banned Bombers players training together at Melbourne private school, St Bernard's College.

Reports emerged last Tuesday that the majority of the 17 banned players still on AFL lists, had their first training session together late last week, which was being driven by the Essendon players of the group.

It appears a group of eight have hit the track again today.

The group includes Jobe Watson, Dyson Heppell, Brent Stanton, Cale Hooker, Ben Howlett and Stewart Crameri and was led by former Essendon player and assistant coach Sean Wellman.

  1. As a mother of one of the banned players, I wish people would get their facts straight. I know my son is not a drug cheat. But whatever you believe, even if they were guilty ( which as I said I don’t believe for a moment – I tend to believe what my son has said first hand not media beat up versions) The supposed supplement which they allegedly took ( no evidence to prove this) is not illegal for the general public. It can be bought in Australia legally. It is only in the world of elite sports people that it is banned. No correlation to Ben Cousin Harley Bennell etc.( and all those protected by the three strikes) who took illicit illegal drugs.
