After a big weekend in the state leagues, who could be a chance to get the call up to the AFL in the final round of the home and away season?

WAFL

Claremont 12.8 80 def. Peel Thunder 11.6 72

Danyle Pearce did his chances of a final AFL game no harm after another strong performance in the WAFL.

Pearce had 29 disposals in Peel Thunder's eight point loss to Claremont.

Rookie midfielder Tom North could be in line to make his debut in the last game of Fremantle's season, having 19 disposals.

Harley Bennell collected 11 disposals.

East Perth 13.10 88 def by. West Perth 16.10 106

Forward Jake Waterman had an impressive game in the loss for the Royals, having 19 possessions and kicking three goals.

Luke Partington was the best for East Perth, amassing 26 disposals and kicking a goal. Partington has not featured in the senior side in 2018.

NEAFL

GWS 7.10 52 def by. Sydney 15.18 108

Defender Zac Williams made a stellar return from a torn Achilles injury, collecting 30 disposals and having seven tackles in the Giants' loss to Sydney.

Former Carlton player Dylan Buckley kicked four for the Giants.

For the Swans, Heath Grundy made his return to football after dealing with mental health issues and performed strongly.

Grundy had 28 disposals and took 12 marks in the win.

Dean Towers was once again strong in the reserves, having 30 disposals.

Gold Coast 3.8 26 def by. Brisbane 17.15 117

Jacob Dawson was one of the lone highlights in the Suns' 93-point defeat, he had 40 disposals, 11 marks and six tackles.

For the Lions, Ben Keays dominated the game, collecting 34 disposals, however could only manage to kick 1.4 in the forward half.

Sam Mayes had 28 disposals for the Lions and Corey Lyons amassed 34 possessions.

SANFL

Glenlg 20.6 126 def. Adelaide 10.9 69

After being dropped to the reserves, Cam Ellis-Yolmen responded well, having 40 disposals including nine inside-50s.

Sam Gibson may also be a chance for a farewell AFL game, after he had 39 disposals and kicked a goal for the twos, in their loss to Glenlg.

Port Adelaide 10.6 66 def by. Central District 14.4 88

Young gun Sam Powell-Pepper could be in line to return for the Power's do or die final round match after a strong performance in the SANFL.

Powell-Pepper impressed with 33 touches, six marks and seven tackles, while Jack Trengove had 24 possessions.

VFL

Coburg 7.6 48 def by. Geelong 20.8 128

Stewart Crameri was in fine form in the reserves, kicking four goals from his 14 possessions.

After being dropped, Quinton Narkle starred for the Cats, having 34 touches and kicking a goal.

Zac Smith had 17 disposals and kicked two goals in the ruck.

Essendon 12.13 85 def. Footscray 4.16 40

James Stewart showed why he should be playing senior football after a best on ground performance in the VFL.

Stewart has 18 disposals, took eight marks and kicked three goals.

For the Dogs, Roarke Smith returned from concussion and finished the match unscathed, while Mitch Honeychurch had 28 disposals.

Northern Blues 13.8 86 def. Sandringham 7.10 52

Levi Casboult took six marks and kicked two goals in a wet and windy encounter as the Blues beat the Zebras.

Cam O'Shea was once again a reserves standout, having 23 disposals.

For the Zebras, Ed Phillips had 36 disposals and Luke Dunstan had 34.

Box Hill 13.13 91 def. Casey 6.10 46

Playing up forward once again, David Mirra was again impressive, kicking three goals and collecting 17 disposals.

James Cousins backed up his performance from last week with another standout showing, having 35 disposals, eight tackles and six marks.

For the Demons, Tom Bugg had 28 disposals and seven tackles as he tries to force his way back into the senior side.

Collingwood 20.17 137 def. Frankston 1.4 10

Alex Fasolo got among the goals in Collingwood's destruction of Frankston.

Fasolo kicked five in the big win, while Josh Smith, Rupert Wills, Ben Crocker and Sam McLarty all had impressive games.
