East Perth 10.7 67 Axed Docker Tom Sheridan responded well to being dropped, having 39 disposals and kicking two goals in Peel's win. Rookie Stefan Giro also impressed, collecting 27 disposals and kicking two goals. For East Perth, Dom Sheed was the standout in the loss, having 34 disposals and kicking two goals. NEAFL Brisbane 18.8 116 def. Sydney 8.7 55 Claye Beams continued his good NEAFL form, amassing 31 disposals, 10 marks, seven tackles, six clearances and a goal for the Lions. Ben Keays was another who impressed having 31 disposals. For Sydney, Dean Towers stood tall in the defeat, having 23 possessions and kicking two goals. SANFL West Adelaide 12.15 87 def. Port Adelaide 9.7 61 Sam Gray had a strong performance in his return from injury, having 13 marks en route to collecting 40 disposals. Jack Trengove was another big ball-winner, having 38 disposals in the Magpies' loss to West Adelaide. VFL Casey Demons 20.9 129 def. Northern Blues 5.8 38 Utility Cam Pedersen once again had an impressive VFL display, this week having 31 disposals and kicking a goal as the Demons dominated the Blues. For the Blues, Harrison Macreadie finished his second straight game after a long term hamstring injury and Patrick Kerr kicked two goals. North Melbourne 10.7 67 def by. Williamstown 19.16 130 Nick Larkey continued to perform in the reserves, kicking five goals and could be on the verge of his first game in 2018 at the senior level. Luke Davies-Uniacke was also one of North's best in their loss. Port Melbourne 12.10 82 def. Essendon 11.11 77 Jayden Laverde and Dylan Clarke could both be in line for senior recalls after big games in Essendon's tight loss to Port Melbourne. Laverde had the ball 28 times while Clarke had 30 disposals and nine tackles. Footscray 14.8 92 def. Frankston 7.8 50 Shane Biggs dominated the game for the Dogs, having 22 disposals and taking five marks in the Bulldogs' victory over Frankston. Tim English also performed well, having 36 hit-outs to give his midfielders first use. Geelong 17.17 109 def. Richmond 9.3 57 Ruckman Zac Smith controlled the game for the Cats in the midfield, having 10 clearances to go with his 50 hit-outs and 17 disposals. Forward Wylie Buzza also had a strong game including three goals and 22 disposals. For the Tigers, Bachar Houli returned from a hamstring injury, putting in a strong first half before sitting out the rest of the game. Box Hill 12.7 79 def. Collingwood 9.18 72 Will Langford did not finish the game after injuring his leg against Collingwood. Prior to the injury, Langford had kicked two goals. For Collingwood, Jarryd Blair was once again a standout and made claims for selection, while tall forward Sam McLarty could be a chance to debut after kicking two goals in a strong showing.
