After a big weekend in the state leagues, who could be a chance to get the call up to the AFL in Round 20?

WAFL

East Perth 12.11 83 def. Perth 11.14 80

Youngster Matthew Allen impressed as East Perth kicked a goal after the siren to snatch victory. Allen had 26 disposals and kicked a goal.

Forward Liam Ryan kicked two goals and had 10 touches.

West Perth 16.11 107 def. Peel Thunder 11.10 76

Harley Bennell could be on the verge of his first game for Fremantle this season after a big performance for Peel Thunder, having 27 disposals and kicking two goals.

In his return from injury, forward Matt Taberner kicked three goals and could move straight back into the Fremantle side.

NEAFL

Sydney University 11.11 77 def by. GWS 20.12 132

Matt de Boer is pushing for selection back in the senior team after 36 disposals and three goals, to go with 11 tackles in the victory.

Academy project Zach Sproule kicked five goals whilst Dylan Buckley kicked three.

Gold Coast 10.10 70 def by. Brisbane 11.16 82

Ryan Bastinac continued his good form in the reserves with a big game in the win over the Gold Coast.

Bastinac had 36 disposals, 11 clearances and eight marks, while Claye Beams also impressed with 24 disposals and two goals.

Michael Barlow was somewhat quiet by his lofty standards in the NEAFL. Barlow had 37 disposals and kicked two goals.

SANFL

North Adelaide 22.9 141 def. Adelaide 19.7 121

Brodie Smith had a strong performance in his second game back, having 32 disposals in the Crows' loss.

Midfielders Cam Ellis-Yolmen and Sam Gibson were both outstanding, collecting 41 and 34 disposals respectively.

Young player Patrick Wilson was the best for the Crows, having 42 disposals and 10 marks.

Port Adelaide 6.7 43 def by. South Adelaide 17.15 117

Former Melbourne skipper Jack Trengove was a shining light for Port Adelaide in their big defeat to South Adelaide.

Trengove collected 31 disposals in the 74-point loss.

VFL

Richmond 18.16 124 def. Werribee 5.8 38

A host of Tigers players impressed as the Tigers had a big win at the Swinburne Centre.

Callum Moore was the best of them, kicking five goals to go with his 19 disposals.

Anthony Miles, Shai Bolton and Corey Ellis all had big numbers as the Tigers dominated.

Northern Blues 18.15 123 def. Frankston 6.4 40

After being dropped from the senior team, Nick Graham responded with 37 disposals and nine clearances.

Forwards Patrick Kerr and Levi Casboult had big games, kicking four and three goals respectively, with the Blues finishing comfortable winners.

Sandringham 6.11 47 def by. Box Hill 11.12 78

The good form of Mitchell Lewis continued for Box Hill, kicking two goals in the Hawks' win over Sandringham.

Nathan Freeman is surely on the verge of making his AFL debut after another strong showing for the Zebras.

Freeman had 37 disposals and hit the scoreboard, kicking one goal.

North Melbourne 9.8 62 def by. Collingwood 10.10 70

In more bad injury news for the club, Jamie Elliott's season could be over after he injured his left hamstring again in the victory over North Melbourne.

Jarryd Blair had a big impact on the game to help the Pies get the win.

For North Melbourne, Luke Davies-Uniacke has put himself back into contention after a strong performance at the lower level.
