On the first episode of Channel Seven's Armchair Experts for 2019, hosts Adam Cooney and Cam Luke have revealed their predictions for the AFL's first $2 million man.
Earlier this season the AFL released the salary brackets of the game's top stars, with only six players earning over $1 million in 2018.
However, both Cooney and Luke believe it's only a matter of time before the salary cap goes up and players begin to get paid more, and both hosts have chosen who they believe will break down the barrier.
Cooney, the 2008 Brownlow Medallist, believes Carlton star Patrick Cripps with be the first player to do so, with Cripps next out of contract at the end of the 2021 season.
Luke however is going with the No. 2 pick from the 2018 draft Jack Lukosius, who is yet to play a game of AFL football.
