Port Adelaide is already without a hostĀ of its biggest names for its clash with Essendon and it could now be about to lose another, with forward Charlie Dixon in doubt to take his place in the side on Friday night.

The Herald Sun has reported that Dixon is battling a knee injury and is struggling to get up for the game.

The Power currentlyĀ have as many as sixĀ first choice players missing through injury.

Alipate Carlile (wrist), Hamish Hartlett (hamstring), Chad Wingard (hamstring) and Jay Schulz (back) are all out for the Power, while Nathan Krakouer is still out with a broken jaw and Matt White is still three months away from a return due toĀ a pectoral injury.
