GWS is counting the injury cost of late, as speedster Brent Daniels and youngster Cody Angove were pulled from Friday's practice match with hamstring problems.
Adding to the concern is ruckman Kieren Briggs (left leg) and forward Callum Brown (right foot), both being put on ice.
The quartet of injury concerns adds to the growing pain at the AFL's youngest club, who will be without star midfielder Tom Green for 2026 following his ACL injury.

All-Australian defender Sam Taylor's high-grade hamstring injury has no return timeline.
Toby Bedford will miss at least a month of football with a hamstring problem, while Finn Callaghan is in doubt for Opening Round as he deals with a hip flexor issue.
Daniels' latest setback comes as the 26-year-old played six games in 2025 due to a rare abdominal injury, which required significant surgery.
As for Angove, he joined the Giants ahead of last year, taken with Pick 24 in the 2024 draft.
Brent Daniels (hamstring) and Cody Angove (hamstring) won’t take any further part in the game. They will be further assessed post-match.

The high half forward debuted in Round 9 against Geelong, and played four consecutive matches to round out his maiden season in the AFL.
GWS has been impressive despite missing a host of key players against the Pies during Friday's match simulation.
Clayton Oliver started brightly in his new colours, and will be shouldering more midfield responsibility in 2026, especially due to the injuries.
