The Western Bulldogs are set to meet with Collingwood midfielder Adam Treloar in a bid to land the 27-year-old, per The Age's Michael Gleeson.

It is understood that the Bulldogs believe they can land Treloar in a deal unrelated to Josh Dunkley's decision to request a move to Essendon, with Treloar set to assess his options with the Dogs.

A number of rival clubs have stated they aren't showing any interest in Treloar this trade period, with the Bulldogs now in strong contention to acquire the Magpies ball magnet should he seek a move away from the Holden Centre.

Collingwood are prepared to pay $100,000-200,000 of Treloar's contract for 2021 should he leave the club.
