It's officially the 2025 AFL off-season, with the trade period opening today and the free agency deadline scheduled for Friday!

All 18 clubs look set to be active in the player movement space, with some busier than others in looking to lure talent through their doors.

St Kilda and Gold Coast pose as the biggest players in player exchange, while a host of players have already joined new clubs through free agency.

The Dockers are looking to bolster their list with Judd McVee and Jai Serong, with the latter having reportedly recently met with coach Justin Longmuir, however is expected to seek a move to Sydney instead. McVee's interest in returning to his home state saw the out-of-contract Demon flag Fremantle as a new home, and he will find his way there. The Dockers have also flagged an intention to improve their draft hand, with their first pick coming at 12th overall, and will likely get pushed back due to Academy/father-son prospect bids and free agency compensation.
