Fremantle star midfielder Caleb Serong will be available for the first final after the Match Review Officer (MRO) deemed the incident involving Jordan Croft wasn't reportable.

In Sunday's do-or-die clash against the Western Bulldogs, Serong and Croft were seen contesting the football, with the latter's head getting collected.

However, the MRO released this statement: "The incident involving Fremantle's Caleb Serong and Western Bulldogs' Jordan Croft from the Fourth Quarter of Sunday's match was assessed by the Match Review Officer. It was the view of the MRO that Serong genuinely contests the ball, and it was reasonable for him to contest the ball in that way. No further action was taken."

Elsewhere, GWS Giants on-baller Finn Callaghan received two separate fines for actions during the St Kilda win.

Callaghan was cited for "other misconduct" towards Saints tall Isaac Keeler, as well as striking Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera.

Both will cost him $1,500 ($1,000 guilty plea).

Brisbane's Darcy Wilmot also got penalised for staging in the nail-biting victory over Hawthorn at the Gabba.

Wilmot was fined $1,500 ($1,000 guilty plea).

From an incident earlier in the round, West Coast have announced they will challenge Liam Baker's one-game suspension.

Harrison Petty and Billy Frampton also traded blows and were issued fines. Similarly, Aliir Aliir was cited for a shot on Ben King  and faces a fine.

Jordan Dawson copped a hefty penalty for his third careless contact with an umpire, as his teammates Jake Soligo (rough conduct), Rory Laird (rough conduct) and Mitch Hinge (staging) were also fined.
