The AFL's Match Review Officer has suspended Gold Coast forward Jed Walter for one game after he delivered a high bump during Thursday night's Community Series clash against Brisbane.
Walter collected Brisbane youngster Zane Zakostelsky with rough conduct after the untried Lion had disposed of the footy during the final term of Gold Coast's 25-point loss.
The MRO graded Walter's action as being of careless conduct, and having medium impact and high contact, resulting in the one-week ban.
Zakostelsky was not concussed as a result of the hit, and played out the remainder of the game.

It means the Suns will need to look for goals elsewhere in their Opening Round clash against Geelong, with Walter kicking two majors during the pre-season Q-Clash.
Jamarra Ugle-Hagan could be the answer and get his long-awaited return to official AFL action, with the former Bulldog also notching two goals of his own in the humid conditions on Thursday.
Sydney recruit Malcolm Rosas Jnr has also been charged by the MRO, deemed to have used abusive language toward an umpire during the fourth quarter of the Swans' win over GWS.
As it is Rosas' first offence, he has been fined $1500, which can be reduced to $1000 with an early plea.
Suns forward Jy Farrar, meanwhile, has escaped any sanction for his mistimed bump on Lions defender Darcy Wilmot. Wilmot was the missed target of a handball during the last quarter, with Farrar's bump appearing to be an intentional act in anticipation of the premiership Lion receiving the football.
Replays showed that Farrar's bump made contact to mostly to Darcy Wilmot's body, which could indicate why he escaped any formal sanction. The MRO did not provide a detailed explanation for their decision.
Wilmot also did not suffer a concussion as a result of the Suns forward's action.
