Fremantle captain Alex Pearce has been offered a three-match suspension for his collision with Port Adelaide's Darcy Byrne-Jones.

Pearce and Bryne-Jones were seen running in opposite directions towards the ball, with the latter coming off second best in the contest.

The Power forward was subbed out with concussion, ultimately placing him in protocols and will miss the next 12 days.

The Match Review Officer (MRO) graded the incident as Careless conduct, severe impact and high contact, constituting in a three-week lay off.

In the same match, Andrew Brayshaw, Caleb Serong and Neil Erasmus were fined.

Erasmus avoided any ban for his rough conduct charge on Willem Drew, with the MRO handing down a $3,000 fine ($2,000 guilty plea). The incident was graded careless conduct, low impact and high contact.

Serong was sanctioned for careless contact with an umpire ($1,500) and Brayshaw for attempting to trip Ollie Wines ($1,500).

At the MCG, Hawthorn and Brisbane played a tough contest, with both Jai Newcombe and Harris Andrews fortunate not to miss any upcoming games.

Newcombe was charged with a dangerous tackle on Lions midfielder Jarrod Berry. The MRO graded the incident as careless conduct, low impact and high contact. He'll have to hand over $10,000 fine ($6,250 guilty plea) due to a fifth offence.

As for Andrews, he was seen striking Hawks forward Connor Macdonald in the second quarter, resulting in a $6,250 fine ($3,750 guilty plea). It was deemed to be careless conduct, low impact and high contact.

Lastly, the clash between North Melbourne and Collingwood yielded four charges.

Both Nick Larkey and Jy Simpkin were changed with a strike in the third quarter. Simpkin was fined $1,500 ($1,000 guilty plea) for his hit on Ned Long, while Larkey avoided any match suspensions as the MRO graded his contact as careless conduct, low impact and high contact. He'll have to pay a $6,250 fine ($3,750 guilty plea).

Kangaroos forward Paul Curtis was also charged with rough conduct on Pies defender Dan Houston after returning from his three-match suspension for a dangerous tackle. He'll have to pay a $6,250 fine ($3,750 guilty plea) after the MRO graded the incident as careless conduct, low impact, and high contact.

Harry Perryman was fined for careless contact with an umpire in the third quarter, resulting in a $1,500 fine ($1,000 guilty plea).

Earlier in the round, Essendon's Will Setterfield was charged twice. One for engaging in a melee ($1,500 fine) and one for careless contact with an umpire ($1,500). In the Dreamtime Match, Richmond forward Rhyan Mansell was also charged for engaging in a melee.

Bailey Smith was also charged for careless contact with an umpire ($1,500 fine) in Geelong's win over the Western Bulldogs on Thursday.
