The AFL's Match Review Officer has charged two players from Thursday's game between Adelaide and Geelong, with Crows midfielder James Peatling handed a one-game suspension.
The first term incident involving Peatling and Cats defender Oisin Mullin has seen the Crows recruit charged with a rough conduct dangerous tackle charge.
Peatling wrapped Mullin up in a tackle with both arms, with the pair rotating and going to the ground, with Mullin's head making contact with the turf as a result of the tackle.
The MRO graded Peatling's actions as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact, resulting in a one-game suspension being handed down.
The suspension, which can be challenged by the Crows at the AFL Tribunal, will see Peatling miss his side's Round 6 clash with GWS - Peatling's former club.
A decision on whether the club will challenge the MRO's decision will be made by midday on Monday.
Geelong star Bailey Smith has been hit with a $1500 fine for making an 'obscene gesture' post-game. That penalty can be reduced to a $1000 fine with an early plea.
No other players were charged from Thursday's game at Adelaide Oval.
