Carlton midfielder Adam Cerra has been offered a one-game ban by the AFL's Match Review Officer for striking Geelong's Jack Bowes.
The incident that has earned Cerra the charge occurred in the third quarter of Sunday's win at the MCG, with the MRO grading the incident as intentional conduct, low impact and high contact.
The penalty results in a one-game ban for Cerra, who can choose to challenge the charge at the AFL Tribunal.
An accepted ban would mean Cerra is unavailable for this weekend's clash with Adelaide in South Australia.
Adam Cerra has been offered a one-week suspension for this incident involving Jack Bowes.
