Carlton recruit and former Swan Ollie Florent has avoided any punishment for his errant knee to ex-teammate Isaac Heeney's head during Thursday's clash.

Florent was contesting a ball and began running toward the boundary when his left knee collected Heeney, which saw the gun Swan assessed for concussion.

The incident was not cited nor explained by the Match Review Officer (MRO).

Carlton leader Sam Walsh was sanctioned twice by the Match Review Officer (MRO) in Thursday's fiery encounter against Sydney.

Walsh was penalised for instigating a melee in the third quarter, and then fined once more for engaging in a fight, totalling $3,000 ($2,000 early plea).

Chad Warner got charged for tripping Elijah Hollands, with the MRO grading the incident as intentional conduct, low impact and body contact. Warner will hand over $3,000 ($2,000 early plea).

Former Swan Will Hayward was fined for instigating a brawl in the third quarter, and will pay $1,500 ($1,000 early plea).

Callum Mills, Errol Gulden and Lewis Young were all sanctioned for engaging in a wrestle. The trio will hand over $1,500 ($1,000 early plea).
